I love a challenge, so I enjoy casting large leaves from my garden. They are time consuming and require a good strategy in order to create a casting that reflects the original leaf precisely. If I'm not careful, I can ruin the one-time mold, or flatten the waves and curves of the leaf making it one-dimensional and uninteresting. This beauty is painted in some of my favorite colors, and is soft and subtle to the eye. Named after "Sirjana", a beautiful young woman with an enormous heart I met in Nepal.
